We received the gift of the Holy Spirit when we were baptized. The gifts of the Holy Spirit will be strengthened in us through the Sacrament of Confirmation. If we read further in Mark's Gospel, we would learn that filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus began the work of his ministry. In the sacraments, Jesus sends us the Holy Spirit to strengthen us so that we might be witnesses to Jesus in our world.

A Fun Family Activity...for ALL ages
"COME, FOLLOW ME" GAME: Play follow the leader, taking turns to say, COME, FOLLOW ME and leading the others in various jumps, hops, skips, etc. Let your kids create an obstacle course in the house or outside around trees, etc, for everyone to follow them. Take turns being the leader to follow!
