What is All Souls Day?
All Sould Day is a time when we remember all those who have died.
Family, Friends even people we don't know.
Even though we should remember them and pray for them everyday, the church has put aside November 2nd as a special day "just for them"
Here is a good prayer to say everyday:
Eternal Father,
I offer You the Most Precious Blood of Your Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, myself, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.
In the gospel reading for this week Jesus tells the parable of the wise and foolish virgins.
5 were ready for the bridegroom (Jesus) and 5 were not... Are you ready?
